Welcome Crosswalk PLUS subscribers! These raw, uncut video takes on Scripture are brought to you ad-free from the hearts of your favorite Crosswalk contributors. We'll examine a Bible verse, application and prayer in five minutes or less as an encouraging way to start any day.
Today's verse is Deuteronomy 17:2-3 with Kim Matthews.
When you begin living in the towns the LORD your God is giving you, a man or woman among you might do evil in the sight of the LORD your God and violate the covenant. For instance, they might serve other gods or worship the sun, the moon, or any of the stars—the forces of heaven—which I have strictly forbidden.
"Lord Jesus, you are my God. You've been my God for all my days, leading and guiding me even when I did not know you. Thank you; no one else is worthy of my worship. Unite my heart to fear you. Thank you for the privilege of knowing you and following the Lamb wherever He goes."
