His dad shares that he loves how his son does not allow his disease to get in the way of his love for sports and activities. The mom teaches that it is where the spinal cord is not completely developed, and it causes nerve damage. Cash is therefore paralyzed on most of his body because of the lack of nerves.
The dad reveals that when their boy was young, he loved basketball and football. They share that he plays wheelchair basketball as a sport. Chase is a fitness coach who helps Cash learn to navigate his unique challenges and helps him to grow stronger. The father shares that his wife is a pediatric nurse, and he is an exercise sports trainer, so they can help their son in a special way. They reveal the joy it has been to work with their son because he has such a positive and hard-working attitude to be an overcomer.
