Bass Singer Performs Chilling 'The Sound of Silence' Cover

Check out this talented bass singer performing a chilling rendition of the song ‘The Sound Of Silence’ by Simon and Garfunkel.

“Hello, darkness, my old friend, I've come to talk with you again
 Because a vision softly creeping, left its seeds while I was sleeping
 And the vision that was planted in my brain still remains
 Within the sound of silence”

The bass singer in the video is Geoff Castellucci, and he has such an incredible voice!

“‘The Sound of Silence’ has been requested by you lovely folks so many times that I figured that I'd better get to it, so I did, and here it is.  I hope you like this version as much as I enjoyed creating it for you. Thanks for watching!” Geoff writes on his YouTube page.

He continues by adding a little background to the song: “‘The Sound of Silence” was originally recorded and released by Simon and Garfunkel in 1964. It was promptly ignored by mainstream radio until it became an unlikely hit in Florida, of all places. The tune has been covered by all manner of artists but probably most notably by Disturbed, and now, um...by me (wink wink, nudge nudge). Hugs, y'all!”
