Man’s Heartfelt Testimony of Overcoming Challenges Inspires and Uplifts

Sadly, this world is a broken and lost place. Many people are struggling to get by, worrying if they can make ends meet at the end of the month. Others are hurting either physically, emotionally or spiritually and often do so in silence. They may be your neighbor, co-worker or even family members.

Unfortunately, everyone will experience deep, dark valleys and storms in life. Trials and hardships do not discriminate; they come to everyone at one time or another. However, some people try to get through such situations without the help, comfort, and love of Jesus Christ. Foolishly, they try to do it with their own power.

In a short clip posted on YouTube, one man describes a challenging period in his life. He could not find work anywhere, and it was during this time that he became homeless. Eventually, he turned to God during what he called “the lowest point” of his life and started attending church.

The man says that the pastor of that church told him to tell God his problems and to place all his trust in Him. Well, the man did just that, and what happened next is truly shocking and shows the power of God.

“I just talked to Him one night,” the man said. “That next day, everything started changing. I got my own place, work every day – all because of Him.”

Additionally, earlier in the clip, before giving his powerful and moving testimony, that man admits that he “was never really into church and stuff” in his earlier years. But he now reads the Bible and is learning and teaching himself about God and His love, mercy and grace for us sinners.

2 Corinthians 12:9: “And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest on me.”
