From the time we were young, we heard stories about amazing men and women in history who did great things. Then, we see stories of superheroes doing superhuman feats to save the world. If we're not careful, a steady diet of this can give one the impression that you have to do something super or great to change the world. This may be mostly true according to worldly standards, but not by God's standards. Simon and Andrew were ordinary fishermen, so God's okay with you being ordinary. In fact, that's His specialty! You don't have to be super to change the world. Just be you, and let God lead you!
Maybe your ordinary is being a good mom and raising godly kids. Or, maybe your ordinary is barely making it out of high school. Whatever your ordinary is, Jesus is the one who makes lives great. He gives you the strength to do things you never thought you could do, power to speak like you've never spoken before, and courage to be the person that He created you to be. He can take what little you think you have to offer and do great things. You just have to be willing.
Will you trust Him? Let Him take your ordinary and make it extraordinary. God loves you.
