'Slow Down' Beautiful Song in Honor of All Moms

'Slow Down' Beautiful Song in Honor of All Moms
  • Updated May 06, 2022

You won’t be able to hold back the tears as you listen to ‘Slow Down,’ a beautiful song in honor of all moms from Nathan Pacheco. If you haven’t heard of Nathan or his beautiful voice, you’re in luck. He is a classically-trained singer that has toured all over North America and parts of Europe. He loves using his music to bring people together and lift them up. That’s just what ‘Slow Down’ will do but in the happy tears kind of way. ‘Slow Down’ was originally written and recorded in 2017 by Nichole Nordeman, a popular Christian singer. She wrote it from the perspective of having a baby and watching it grow up. She wrote it for her son when he graduated from fifth grade, but the song spoke to parents everywhere with these lyrics. “I am your biggest fan I hope you know I am But do you think you can somehow Slow down” That’s only a few. The entire song has beautiful and heartbreaking words the entire time! Nichole said, “Treat the special moments with care and reverence and treat the everyday moments the very same way. Find ways to eliminate the things in our lives that are cumbersome and unnecessary and mostly obligatory, in order to create space for the stuff that counts.” What a beautiful concept but of course, difficult to do. Nathan Pacheco dedicated his new album, ‘Here’s to You,’ to mothers and women everywhere. These mother figures are incredibly strong and don’t get enough recognition. Nathan wanted to show his gratitude to those people in his life and give others a way to share their appreciation. Never take the mothers in your life for granted. God makes little miracles through mothers. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Many women have done virtuously, but you excel them all. Proverbs 31: 28-29
