Trio’s Chilling ‘How Great Thou Art’ Rendition

The Small Town Sunday band began in North Carolina in 2012 with the mission of telling others that God can redeem anything–including the pain of losing someone. Matt and Holly Branch, who are now married, didn’t know each other until the night they met at the same time, meeting Stephen Roberston. They went from being mere strangers with a passion for music to becoming family and a band. They were formally known as Dixie Still before changing their name to ‘Dixie Revival,’ and finally, they settled on the name ‘Small Town Sunday’ because they wanted to tell others about the good news of Jesus through their music. 

“We want to tell the story of how God has restored us,” Holly said. “And we want to do it through our music.”

Her husband added, “Most of the folks that listen to country music have a moral compass, whether or not they believe in Christ or not. So, any music that we can put out that pushes a message of positivity towards that moral compass is a good thing if you ask me.”

Their performance of ‘How Great Thou Art’ will leave you breathless as they hit the high notes in harmony. As each of them raised their voices, you can’t help but get chills at how stunning they sound together. Their performance of the song captures the heart of worship and the heart of their band.
