How Can I Remember to Read the Bible Every Day?

Whenever you go to the Lord he is always there. He is always there waiting for us. So I would encourage someone to put their Bible, and their journal somewhere they will see it on a regular basis. Don’t leave it in your car or put it on your bookshelf. Put it beside your bed, put it by the table where you watch television, put it near the dinner table or breakfast table, and when you see it then you will be reminded to interact with the word of God.
The Apostle Paul said, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” WE cannot believe God for the challenges of life unless we interact with the Scriptures. I would encourage people to put it somewhere and then interact. I find that the more you do it the more you’ll want to interact.
The beauty of a journal is it allows you to write down your thoughts and what God is teaching you. Maybe something special you learned just that day. And then in a process you leave it as a legacy for other people. I leave my journals out for my wife, my children, and my grandchildren, to read and to look at that kind of stuff. They can say, “God is working in grandpa’s life. Maybe I ought to be reading the Bible as well.”
